A quiet tool
for the loud work
of launching.

Press & Galley is an Amazon Ads optimizer built for indie authors — not ecommerce sellers. We find the keywords bleeding your budget, scale the ones quietly earning, and hand you back the hours you'd rather spend writing.

Tools built for Nike
don't work for novelists.

Pacvue and Perpetua assume you have a marketing team and a ten-thousand-dollar ad budget. They don't understand KENP page reads, series read-through, or the launch spike that decides a book's first ninety days.

So you end up managing 500 keywords across 20 campaigns in a spreadsheet at midnight, while book four of the series waits.

"

I spent $4,200 on Amazon ads last quarter and I genuinely could not tell you which keywords made me money. The dashboard is a crime scene.

I.

Find the bleeders

Every morning, Press & Galley scans your campaigns for keywords burning budget without converting. We flag them, explain why, and let you pause them with one click — or automate it entirely.

II.

Scale the winners

When a keyword is hitting target ACOS, you want more of it. We surface your quietly profitable keywords and recommend bid increases before your competitors notice them.

III.

Understand your series

We know that Book 1 sells Books 2–7. Press & Galley models series read-through and KENP page reads so your ACOS actually reflects what you earn, not just what Amazon shows you.

IV.

Launch mode

Tell us a book is launching. We shift your budget to support release week, then rebalance once organic rank takes over. No more manual budget dances at midnight.

V.

Weekly digest

Every Monday, a two-minute email: what happened, what it earned, three things worth doing this week. The whole point is to give you your hours back.

VI.

Built by readers

We're not ex-Amazon consultants. We love books. Every recommendation is designed around what indie authors actually need — from a first launch to a twenty-book backlist.

Priced for authors, not agencies.

Pay monthly. Cancel anytime. No percentage of your ad spend, no kickbacks, no bullshit. Our incentives are aligned with you lowering ACOS, not with Amazon taking more.

Things authors always ask.

What does "Press & Galley" mean?

A press prints a book. A galley is the proof pulled from the type before the press runs — the last careful pass before the work becomes real. We named the company for that threshold. Press & Galley is the galley for your ads: the careful check before your campaigns go live, every day.

Does Press & Galley take control of my ads?

Only if you want it to. By default, we make recommendations and you click Apply. If you trust the system, you can turn on auto-apply for specific rules — pause obvious bleeders, small bid nudges, that sort of thing. You're always in control.

How is this different from AdsDroid or a managed service?

AdsDroid and managed agencies charge $500–$5,000 a month and take the keyboard out of your hands. Press & Galley is a tool, not a service. You keep control, you keep your data, and you pay a fraction of the price. Best of both worlds if you want to actually understand your own ads.

What genres does this work for?

Fiction in any genre — romance, fantasy, LitRPG, cozy mystery, thriller, all of it. Nonfiction too, though the series read-through modeling is most valuable for genre fiction with backlist depth. If you publish on KDP and run Amazon Ads, this is built for you.

Do you support ACX / audiobooks?

Not yet. Audiobook ads are on the roadmap for late 2026. Right now we focus on ebook and paperback ads on Amazon, because that's where most indie authors' ad dollars go.

Is my Amazon data safe?

Yes. We connect through Amazon's official Login with Amazon OAuth — we never see your password. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. You can disconnect anytime and we delete your data on request. Read our privacy policy and security page for details.
